Recycling system
We have a dedicated waste management and recycling team and lead regular community clean-ups to raise awareness about the impact of litter.
Waste from Sundy Praia is separated into six streams: glass; plastics and metals; paper and cardboard; uncooked food scraps; cooked food scraps; and landfill. While you won’t see the separation in your villas, rest assured that our housekeeping team members separate it behind-the-scenes and it is picked up by our Waste Management and Recycling Team. For example, 100% of the glass waste is given another life by crushing it into 'glass sand', which is then used as a construction aggregate in maintenance projects.
Eco-friendly constructions
Unique to Sundy Praia’s villas, their specialised footing uses a ‘screw-in’ mechanism instead of concrete, which minimises the impact on the environment.
